BASIC INFORMATION FOR INDOOR YOUTH SOCCER CLINICS

 

Below you will find detailed information regarding youth soccer clinics for Winter 1, Winter 2 and Winter 3 (November - Mid April). All clinics listed below will be held at the Farmington Sports Arena on the indoor fields. 

Age Groups - Clinics are available to players U05-U15 (2008-2018 birthyears)

Registration - Done through our website (preferred), front desk or via phone. All registrations must be accompanied by the $175 fee. Please be aware that clinics could sell out prior to the deadline. Late registrations will be accepted on a case to case basis provided there is room remaining in the clinic of interest.  All registration is first-come, first-served. Registration will remain open as long as space is available, however, registration for all clinics will close after the second class has occurred for each specific clinic.

Clinic Fees: $175 (Each clinic includes 6 training sessions; 1 hour training per week; participants will receive a clinic t-shirt around the 5th week)

Payment - We accept cash, check or charge. Accepted credit cards include VISA, MasterCard and Discover. The full fee is due with your registration. No partial payments will be accepted. Those opting to pay by check will still need to register online. Upon exiting your registration without making a credit card payment your child will be dropped into the waiting list for the group. Once your payment is received and availability is confirmed we will move your child into the officially registered group and confirm by e-mail.

Time for all clinics: 4-5:00pm

Clinic Locations: Field locations will be posted at the front desk and on the sliding glass doors entering the indoor fields.

What's Needed - No Outdoor cleats. Please bring indoor shoes (or sneakers) to each clinic along with your shin guards, soccer ball and water bottle. 

Refund Policy - Full refunds will be given in the event that the clinic does not have enough participants enrolled to occur which will result in cancelation. We will attempt to process all refunds within 2 weeks of the cancelation date. Refunds will not be given to individuals withdrawing on or after the posted registration deadline for the clinic of interest.

CLINIC DESCRIPTIONS
 

MINI-KICKERS (U05-U06) 2017-2018 birth year

FSA's Mini Kickers program is for players ages 4-5. The Mini Kickers program will focus on foot-eye coordination, dribbling, passing, trapping, scoring and balance as well as the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Mini Kickers will also introduce the ideas of sportsmanship and team play.

HOT SHOTS (U07-U09) 2014-2016 birth year

FSA's Hot Shots program is a specially designed program for children ages 6 to 8. The program will focus on the basic fundamental skills of soccer including movement and control of the ball. Players learn valuable skills such as cooperation, listening to others, taking directions, and communicating with teammates through soccer-related exercises and games. They will learn to become more comfortable with the ball at their feet through fun, non-competitive games. Children are taught how to turn the ball, dribble, shoot, and play simple games. Emphasis is on motor skill development, confidence, success with the ball and fun. Each class will include "Play Time" to re-enforce the skills introduced that day.

FUTURE STARS (U10-U12) 2011-2013 birth year

FSA's Future Stars program is a specially designed program for children ages 9 to 11. This program consists of 6 classes focusing on each of the following skills: dribbling, passing, and shooting. The skills taught in the Future Stars Clinic are instrumental in the proper development of young soccer players. Players in this program will be taught the skills needed to reach their full potential as a player.

GOAL SCORER 1 (U10-U12) 2011-2013 birth year

FSA's Goal Scorer 1 program is a specially designed program for children ages 9 to 11. FSA recognizes that scoring goals is the key to winning soccer games, and goal scorers are the players that get the most attention. This program offers players the chance to focus totally on improving this element of their soccer skill-set. This clinic is a perfect addition to any soccer player's training schedule and is open to players of all positions. The clinic may also combine with the "Goalkeeper" clinic to best replicate live game action.

GOALKEEPER 1 (U10-U12) 2011-2013 birth year

FSA's Goalkeeper program is a specially designed program for children ages 9 to 11. A great opportunity for goalkeepers of any level to learn the mechanics of proper goalkeeper skills from specially trained coaches. Training will cover warm-up, skill set, movement, tracking, catching, throwing, receiving and kicking. The clinic will also cover diving, reaction, handling the breakaway and how to mix it all together. The clinic may also combine with the "Goal Scorer" clinic to best replicate live game action.

SOCCER AGILITY & CONDITIONING (U10-U15 yr olds) 2008-2013 birth year

FSA's Soccer Agility & Conditioning program is a specially designed program for children ages 9 to 14. This clinic is a great opportunity for players of any level to improve their speed, agility, quickness, strength & conditioning through exercises specific to a soccer players needs.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING (U12-U15) 2008-2011 birth year

FSA's Functional Training program is a specially designed program for children ages 11-14. This clinic will focus on attacking principles (creative 1v1 moves, technical goal scoring and decision making in the attacking third), the midfield position (passing, vision, awareness, and receiving and turning under pressure), and the defending third (marking, 1v1 play, transition play, communication, containment and defensive stance).
